My dog team is pretty distinctive. Lil girl is all white and the only white single lead dog. Most of the teams had two dogs in lead. You can see me pretty clearly … well as clearly as you can with all the gear on in the segment after Wayne harness’s the dogs and the teams leave for the day. I’m the second team … blue hat, blue mittens.

I treated myself to a trip into the Alaskan wilderness in February 2007. Many call me crazy, particularly my father. In fact he could not believe that there were other people willing to do this. The trip was through the Sierra club and the outfitters were the wonderful people and dog of Bush Alaska Expeditions. Yes it was cold, high was -25 and the low was -60, and even colder at Wayne and Scarlet’s Place. Great trip, I hope to do it again soon.
